We've had lots going on this week with Year 6 at the Tate Britain, Year 1 at the Natural History Museum and we’ve enjoyed a soloists’ music concert today.
On Tuesday morning, children in Y3 and Y4 took part in drumming workshops. It was wonderful to see how the children all played their different drums, producing such a wonderful rhythmic and dramatic sound.
As we start out this year, our iShare theme is ‘Belonging Together’ and we will be exploring what this means for us at Christ Church in the coming weeks.
These final few days of term have still included a flurry of activity, not least of all, our Year 6 children enjoying a final full week together on the Isle of Wight.
Our amazing summer concert was a spectacular highlight, featuring unforgettable performances by our talented orchestra, who played the thrilling Star Wars theme, a delightful handbells ensemble, and our wonderful choir, who charmed us all with an Abbatastique medley.
